Petitioner’s documents

1.       If you were born in the United States, give USCIS a copy, front and back, of your birth certificate.

2.       If you were naturalized, give USCIS a copy, front and back, of your original Certificate of Naturalization.

3.       Form FS-240 (Report of Birth Abroad of a United States Citizen).

4.       Valid, unexpired U.S. passport issued with a validity period of at least five years. You must submit copies of all pages in the passport.

5.       A passport-style color photo, taken within 30 days of the date of I-129F petition.

6.       Documents that can demonstrates the development of your relationship

1)         Pictures taken together in recent two years (mark the date, location and names)

2)         Airline Tickets, boarding passes, or travel agency documents of your travels   together

3)         Telephone bills (with name, address, and phone number)

4)         letters and emails

5)         Online Chat histories

6)         Remittance slips

7.       Written statement from you and your fiancé(e) whom you plan to marry within 90 days of his or her admission

8.       Written statement from your relatives and friends have been invited to the wedding

9.       Photos of your engagement ceremony

10.   Receipt/Invoice of your engagement ring

11.   Any other relevant evidence that support your wedding will be hold and not for the purpose of immigrant

12.   Death certificate of spouse or final decree of divorce (if any)

5.       Notarized single certificate. You must submit a notarized statement saying that you are currently single or have not remarried since a divorce or death of a spouse or death of a spouse.

6.       Notarized divorce/death certification(s) to prove dissolution of the previous marriage(s). (if any)

1.       Form I-134, Affidavit of Support I-134 and a copy of the most recent year tax returns from the petitioner

2.       Employer's statement showing salary and the length and permanency of employment

3.       Bank statement of saving account, the date the account opened and the present balance

Proof of petitioner's residency in the Unites States

1.       Household registry

2.       Lease/deed/mortgage statements,

3)         Form DS-157.A copy of DS-157 is required for all male applicants aged 16 to 45 and for all applicants over age 16, male or female, who are citizens of or born in Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, or Syria.

2.       A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States

3.       Notarized foreign Birth Certificate

4.       Four visa photos attached to forms DS-156

5.       Evidence of dissolution of prior marriage(s): If you were married previously, obtain one certified copy of your divorce decree(s) or death certificate(s) to prove the dissolution of each prior marriage.

6.       Relationship evidence:

1)         Photographs, taken together in recent two years (mark the date, location and names)

2)         Telephone records (with name, address, and phone numbercalling cards are inadmissible unless you have proof of the calls made on the cards),

3)         Letters and emails (guarantee a visa officer will believe you have a bona fide relationship)

4)         Airline Tickets, boarding passes, or travel agency documents of your travels together

5)         Online Chat histories

6)         Remittance slips

7)         Certification of Legal Capacity and Intent to Marry (only k1 application needs to submit this form).

7.       Notarized police certificates. Police certificates are also required from all other countries where the applicant has resided for at least one year.

1.         Notarized foreign Birth Certificate

2.         A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States

3.         Notarized single certificate. The certificate should be good for one year from the date of issuance.

4.         Notarized police certificates are required from each visa applicant aged 16 or over issued by his/her local municipal notary office where he/she has resided for at least six months since attaining the age of sixteen. Police certificates are also required from all other countries where the applicant has resided for at least one year.

5.         Court and prison records

6.         If any child from previous marriage will also apply for visa, a divorce decree showing the child's custody is needed.

     

Note  All documents not in English must be accompanied by certified English translations. A competent translator must certify the translation and swear to the accuracy of the document before a notary public.
